Travel to/from Bergen You can fly to Bergen direct from a number of central destinations in Europe like Amsterdam, Copenhagen, London, Paris, Helsinki or Oslo. Bergen is one of the busiest air routes in Europe, with more than 30 daily departures, while there are six daily departures from Copenhagen and three daily departures to London. Bergen Airport Flesland is located 18 kilometers south of Bergen. The airport bus departs every 15 – 20 minutes and takes about 30 minutes to the Bergen city center. You can also take the Bergen Light Rail (Bybanen) from the airport to the city center. The Airport light rail is cheap and costs 4 Euro.


Bergen offers around 40 hotels in the city centre and the rest of the region – ranging from small, charming hotels to big chain hotels with excellent facilities. All hotels in Bergen offers free wi-fi to their guests and most hotels have breakfast included. Choose between hotels in the city centre, hotels by the airport or fjord hotels.
